Cutler Announces Area Transportation Grants
February 24, 2025
HARRISBURG – Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Peach Bottom) today announced that multiple projects in the 100th District have received funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF).
The two projects are:
- Christiana Borough has received $800,000 for multiple roadway improvements in the borough.
- Sadsbury Township has received $250,000 to complete the construction of a multi-use trail.
“This funding will help both townships complete these important projects,” said Cutler. “These projects will be crucial improvements to area infrastructure and will benefit those who live in Christiana and Sadsbury greatly. I also want to thank Sen. Scott Martin for his partnership in working to secure these grants.”
Funds from the MTF may be used for the development, rehabilitation and enhancement of transportation assets to existing communities, streetscapes, lighting, sidewalk enhancements, pedestrian safety, connectivity of transportation assets and transit-oriented development.
