Cutler Announces Grants for Local Fire, EMS Departments

HARRISBURG – Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Peach Bottom) today announced that multiple fire departments and EMS companies have received funding from the Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program.
“These grants will support first responders across the 100th District,” said Cutler. “The funding in question will help support renovation efforts and new equipment for our departments, which will help our brave men and women keep our community safe.”
The groups that have received funding are:
- Bart Township Fire Co.: $14,487.
- Christiana Community Ambulance Association: $15,000.
- Christiana Fire Co. No. 1: $15,724.
- Gap Fire Co.: $15,930.
- Keystone Wildfire Crew: $12,014.
- Paradise and Leaman Place Fire Co.: $13,457.
- Quarryville Fire Co. No. 1: $14,899.
- Rawlinsville Fire Co.: $24,632.
- Robert Fulton Fire Co.: $12,838.
- Strasburg Fire Co. No. 1: $14,075.
- Wakefield Ambulance Association: $15,000.
- White Horse Fire Co. EMS: $15,000.
- White Horse Fire Co.: $14,281.
This funding comes from an ongoing grant program created by the Legislature which is administered by the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and Office of the State Fire Commissioner (OSFC). Projects eligible for funding include construction or renovation of a fire or ambulance company facility, purchase or repair of equipment, training, or reduction of existing debt.
